Tips and tricks for Iron Banner

Make sure you are wearing your IB Emblem, IB Shader, and IB Class item as well as purchase the 12 hour IB boon.
If you don't have all three of those, purchase them asap.
The IB Emblem, IB Shader, and IB Class Item are each worth a stackable 10% buff to reputation earned in IB and via IB quests.

The IB boon increases in value each day and only costs a mote for 12 hours.

I'll update this as each day progresses and i'll alert you when i'm included the NF boon (night fall 25% boon applies to IB as well, but i'm not certain if it stacks or applies via diminishing returns).

Helpful Strategies

If your team loses, you will get medallions.

• You can hold up to 5 medallions on one character (cannot be put in bank).
  
• Don't discard your Medallions; 1 medallion can be redeemed for 80% of a win, so redeeming 5 means you get points for 4 victories on top of the victory that let you redeem (total of 5 victories worth of XP and Rep.
  
• Don't discard them at the end of the week either because they can be redeemed next month when Saladin comes back into town.
  

Only try to hold 2 zones.
One zone is typically harder to maintain so at best apply a little pressure there on small maps. Large maps, don't worry about it.
There are 3 basic strategies that applies to both ToO and Control/Skirmish/Salvage

1. Rush (Controlled, not Leeroy Jenkins)
   
2. Aggressive protect
   
3. Faux rush (the Tease method)
